Since Logrono we have been walking with a Spanish group of which Estrella, Norbert,s Camino angel and blister fixer was a part, we seem to end up in the same place every day.
One of the pictures is this group minus Estrella who is 2 days behind. In Burgo Ranero we had a very nice auberge with a room with 3 beds, a treat as the other room had 36 beds.
We had Dominique as a roomy, she walked from Paris, and what a positive person she is, lots of blisters b
ut no complaints. The auberge had a nice garden with fruit trees to which Norbert helped himself. On arrival, the first step is a shower, then laundry then prepare you bed and after that we look where to have dinner and shop for supply's for the next day.
Today we arrived in Leon, we took the bus for the last 7km. as we find city walking hard on the feet and ears.
Leon has a beautiful cathedral and is a university town, so lots of young people. Visited the cathedral and watched the plaza come to live. On my last Camino I skipped this city.
Tomorrow we are on to Vilar de Mazarife and Hospital de Orbigo.
