We left Delicias at 8:30 am.
First stretch we drove on the Quota " toll" but the libre was just as good so we switched over to the libre and left Chihuahua and in to Durango.  As we were driving I said to Norbert " if you see a Soriana store stop" we both knew there would be no store in this village. We rounded a bend and there was a big Soriana store, so we decided to spend the nite there.
On wednesday we wanted to take the periferico around Durango as we were warned that Durango is very dangrous.  but we got lost and ended up right in the centre of the old town in rush hour. After a few more wrong turns we made it to highway 45 west and were on our way. Again we took the Libre. The scenery is fantastic, but if you have to make time you should take the quota. It took us 10 hours to drive 370 km. but it was well worth it.  We are now in Acaponeta at a Pemex and will spend the nite here so we will be in Lo de Marcos tomorrow noon, can't wait to see my friends.
Big hug to all.
Norbert and Greti

Saying goodby to friends
